# GoFly vs U8

The clearest difference is rating: U8 at 4.1 against GoFly's 3.0. GoFly's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. U8 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. GoFly asks for nothing beyond the download.

U8 holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GoFly's written reviews are positive against 64% of U8's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoFly ships an update every 2 weeks, U8 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
