# GoFly vs ShadowShare

The clearest difference is rating: ShadowShare at 4.7 against GoFly's 3.0. ShadowShare also leads on ratings volume (367 vs 4). GoFly's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShadowShare sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. GoFly asks for nothing beyond the download.

ShadowShare holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShadowShare has 367 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GoFly's written reviews are positive against 60% of ShadowShare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoFly ships an update every 2 weeks, ShadowShare every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
