# Potatso vs ESET VPN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ESET VPN at none against Potatso's 5. ESET VPN also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Potatso's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (58% vs 45%). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Potatso sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. ESET VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Potatso against 4.3 for ESET VPN.
