# Hey Mayo vs Be

The clearest difference is update cadence: Be at every 2 weeks against Hey Mayo's every 3 months. Hey Mayo's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Hey Mayo against 5.0 for Be. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hey Mayo has 17 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Hey Mayo ships an update every 3 months, Be every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
