# MOD Pizza vs El Lider

The clearest difference is update cadence: El Lider at fortnightly against MOD Pizza's every 3 months. El Lider also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). MOD Pizza's advantage is ratings volume (214K vs 4) and chart position (#164 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MOD Pizza against 5.0 for El Lider. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOD Pizza has 214K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MOD Pizza ships an update every 3 months, El Lider fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
