# MOD Pizza vs Sweet Tea Express

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MOD Pizza at 214K against Sweet Tea Express's 8. MOD Pizza also leads on chart position (#179 vs unranked). Sweet Tea Express's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MOD Pizza against 4.9 for Sweet Tea Express. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOD Pizza has 214K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MOD Pizza ships an update every 3 months, Sweet Tea Express every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
