# PDF Scanner Pro ⊟ vs AnyScan

The clearest difference is ads: AnyScan at none against PDF Scanner Pro ⊟'s shown. AnyScan also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). PDF Scanner Pro ⊟'s advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner Pro ⊟ sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AnyScan sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyScan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Scanner Pro ⊟ has 6.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PDF Scanner Pro ⊟ ships an update fortnightly, AnyScan monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
