# The ZO App vs AlphaTouch Video Intercom

The clearest difference is rating: AlphaTouch Video Intercom at 4.6 against The ZO App's 2.9. AlphaTouch Video Intercom also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 89) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AlphaTouch Video Intercom holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AlphaTouch Video Intercom has 4.2K ratings behind it against 89, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of The ZO App's written reviews are positive against 23% of AlphaTouch Video Intercom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The ZO App ships an update fortnightly, AlphaTouch Video Intercom every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
