# Invitation Maker vs Funeral Poster Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Funeral Poster Maker at 100% against Invitation Maker's 54%. Funeral Poster Maker also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13). Invitation Maker's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 2.6) and ratings volume (11K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Invitation Maker sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Funeral Poster Maker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Invitation Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Invitation Maker has 11K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Invitation Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Funeral Poster Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Invitation Maker ships an update every 3 weeks, Funeral Poster Maker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
