# Battle.net vs kakaogames CONNECT

The clearest difference is rating: Battle.net at 4.6 against kakaogames CONNECT's 1.0. Battle.net also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (36K vs 2). kakaogames CONNECT's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (38% vs 24%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Battle.net holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Battle.net has 36K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Battle.net's written reviews are positive against 38% of kakaogames CONNECT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Battle.net ships an update every 4 weeks, kakaogames CONNECT every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
