# Messages and Chat Export PDF vs Export calendars

The clearest difference is rating: Messages and Chat Export PDF at 4.5 against Export calendars's 2.4. Messages and Chat Export PDF also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 5). Export calendars's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Messages and Chat Export PDF sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Export calendars sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Messages and Chat Export PDF holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Messages and Chat Export PDF has 4.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Messages and Chat Export PDF's written reviews are positive against 50% of Export calendars's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Messages and Chat Export PDF ships an update every 6 weeks, Export calendars every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
