# LaView Connect vs Guard Live

The clearest difference is rating: LaView Connect at 3.9 against Guard Live's 3.3. LaView Connect also leads on ratings volume (635 vs 45) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Guard Live's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (33% vs 13%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LaView Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaView Connect has 635 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of LaView Connect's written reviews are positive against 33% of Guard Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LaView Connect ships an update every 2 months, Guard Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
