# iTranslate Converse vs 3PO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 3PO at 84% against iTranslate Converse's 47%. 3PO also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). iTranslate Converse's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 36) and chart position (#44 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTranslate Converse sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and 3PO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

3PO holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTranslate Converse has 5.3K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of iTranslate Converse's written reviews are positive against 84% of 3PO's.

iTranslate Converse ships an update monthly, 3PO every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
