# ViplexHandy vs NDI HX Camera

The clearest difference is rating: NDI HX Camera at 4.4 against ViplexHandy's 2.4. NDI HX Camera also leads on ratings volume (531 vs 29). ViplexHandy's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NDI HX Camera sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. ViplexHandy asks for nothing beyond the download.

NDI HX Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NDI HX Camera has 531 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of ViplexHandy's written reviews are positive against 11% of NDI HX Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ViplexHandy ships an update every 6 weeks, NDI HX Camera every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
