# Poster Maker vs DigitalPost Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: DigitalPost Maker at free against Poster Maker's free with in-app purchases. DigitalPost Maker also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.5). Poster Maker's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 46%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poster Maker sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and DigitalPost Maker sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poster Maker ships an update every 8 days, DigitalPost Maker fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
