# Transcribe vs Next2Do

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Next2Do at 100% against Transcribe's 38%. Next2Do also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.5). Transcribe's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (11K vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcribe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Next2Do asks for nothing beyond the download.

Transcribe holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transcribe has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Transcribe's written reviews are positive against 100% of Next2Do's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Transcribe ships an update fortnightly, Next2Do every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
