# Transcribe vs SoundScriptPro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SoundScriptPro at 100% against Transcribe's 38%. SoundScriptPro also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). Transcribe's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcribe sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and SoundScriptPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transcribe ships an update fortnightly, SoundScriptPro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
