# 每日记 vs e

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: e at none against 每日记's 3. e also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). 每日记's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 每日记 sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

每日记 ships an update every 6 weeks, e every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
