# USFA vs USSSA

USFA and USSSA both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 65% of USSSA's written reviews are positive against 30% of USFA's. USSSA also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 32 months) and ratings volume (31K vs 2.8K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for USFA against 4.9 for USSSA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USSSA has 31K ratings behind it against 2.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of USFA's written reviews are positive against 65% of USSSA's.

USFA ships an update every 32 months, USSSA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
