# iSmCam vs Dekco

The clearest difference is rating: iSmCam at 4.0 against Dekco's 3.1. iSmCam also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Dekco's advantage is review sentiment (24% vs 0%) and ratings volume (81 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iSmCam holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dekco has 81 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of iSmCam's written reviews are positive against 24% of Dekco's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iSmCam ships an update every 6 weeks, Dekco every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
