# Promatic WorkTracker vs ION

The clearest difference is rating: ION at 5.0 against Promatic WorkTracker's 3.5. Promatic WorkTracker's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ION holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Promatic WorkTracker has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Promatic WorkTracker ships an update fortnightly, ION monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
