# 番茄ToDo vs DottieNote

The clearest difference is monetization model: DottieNote at free against 番茄ToDo's free with in-app purchases. 番茄ToDo's advantage is ratings volume (4.9K vs 1) and review sentiment (89% vs 73%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 番茄ToDo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and DottieNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for 番茄ToDo against 5.0 for DottieNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 番茄ToDo has 4.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of 番茄ToDo's written reviews are positive against 73% of DottieNote's.

番茄ToDo ships an update every 2 weeks, DottieNote every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
