# Mimizaur vs Toothbrush Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Toothbrush Timer at 5.0 against Mimizaur's 4.6. Toothbrush Timer also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 weeks). Mimizaur's advantage is ratings volume (874 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mimizaur sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Toothbrush Timer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Toothbrush Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mimizaur has 874 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mimizaur ships an update every 5 weeks, Toothbrush Timer every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
