# Firefly for Parents vs Involve Education

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Involve Education at 46% against Firefly for Parents's 1%. Firefly for Parents's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 1.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Firefly for Parents holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firefly for Parents has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 1% of Firefly for Parents's written reviews are positive against 46% of Involve Education's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Firefly for Parents ships an update fortnightly, Involve Education every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
