# Prank Luck Scanner vs Lie Detector

The clearest difference is rating: Lie Detector at 4.4 against Prank Luck Scanner's 1.0. Lie Detector also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 7 months vs every 21 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prank Luck Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lie Detector sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lie Detector holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lie Detector has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Prank Luck Scanner ships an update every 21 months, Lie Detector every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
