# Artstudio Pro vs iconTool

The clearest difference is price: Artstudio Pro at Free against iconTool's $0.99. Artstudio Pro also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (4.1K vs 4). iconTool's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (96% vs 74%). On update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Artstudio Pro is free to download; iconTool costs $0.99 up front. Artstudio Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year. iconTool asks for nothing beyond the download.

Artstudio Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Artstudio Pro has 4.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Artstudio Pro's written reviews are positive against 96% of iconTool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
