# 小黑盒 vs 慕色MS

The clearest difference is ads: 小黑盒 at none against 慕色MS's shown. 小黑盒 also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). 慕色MS's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 小黑盒 sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and 慕色MS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for 小黑盒 against 4.5 for 慕色MS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 小黑盒 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of 小黑盒's written reviews are positive against 67% of 慕色MS's.

小黑盒 ships an update fortnightly, 慕色MS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
