# LapTrophy vs GPS Lap Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: GPS Lap Timer at every 6 days against LapTrophy's every 3 months. LapTrophy's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LapTrophy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GPS Lap Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
