# 7 Second Challenge vs 5 Second Rule

The clearest difference is ads: 5 Second Rule at none against 7 Second Challenge's shown. 5 Second Rule also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). 7 Second Challenge's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 82) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 7 Second Challenge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and 5 Second Rule sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

5 Second Rule holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 7 Second Challenge has 3.1K ratings behind it against 82, so its average is the more settled of the two.
