# Fox Evolution vs Lob

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lob at none against Fox Evolution's 15. Lob also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Fox Evolution's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fox Evolution sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Lob asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lob holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fox Evolution has 2.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
