# Velvet Taco vs ProsOrders

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Velvet Taco at 28K against ProsOrders's 4. Velvet Taco also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Velvet Taco against 5.0 for ProsOrders. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Velvet Taco has 28K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Velvet Taco ships an update weekly, ProsOrders monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
