# Trackman Golf vs GOLFTEC

The clearest difference is rating: Trackman Golf at 4.9 against GOLFTEC's 4.0. Trackman Golf also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (45K vs 699). GOLFTEC's advantage is review sentiment (52% vs 40%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GOLFTEC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Trackman Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trackman Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trackman Golf has 45K ratings behind it against 699, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Trackman Golf's written reviews are positive against 52% of GOLFTEC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trackman Golf ships an update every 3 weeks, GOLFTEC monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
