# Molecule Motion vs Crowd Runners

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Molecule Motion at 100% against Crowd Runners's 25%. Molecule Motion also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Crowd Runners's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 3) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Molecule Motion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Crowd Runners sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crowd Runners holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crowd Runners has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Molecule Motion's written reviews are positive against 25% of Crowd Runners's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Molecule Motion ships an update weekly, Crowd Runners monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
