# Molecule Motion vs FamGames

The clearest difference is rating: FamGames at 5.0 against Molecule Motion's 4.3. Molecule Motion's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Molecule Motion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FamGames sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FamGames holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Molecule Motion ships an update weekly, FamGames every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
