# Tip vs ALF Connect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ALF Connect at none against Tip's 3. ALF Connect also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). Tip's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tip sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. ALF Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Tip against 5.0 for ALF Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tip has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
