# Pen City Current vs Equal Time

The clearest difference is rating: Equal Time at 5.0 against Pen City Current's 4.6. Equal Time also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Pen City Current's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Equal Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pen City Current has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
