# Phodeo vs Drip Effect Photo Editor

The clearest difference is rating: Phodeo at 4.5 against Drip Effect Photo Editor's 3.7. Phodeo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Phodeo sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Drip Effect Photo Editor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
