# BibliU vs GCU Student App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GCU Student App at 100% against BibliU's 12%. BibliU's advantage is rating (2.6 vs 1.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BibliU holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BibliU has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of BibliU's written reviews are positive against 100% of GCU Student App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BibliU ships an update monthly, GCU Student App every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
