# Flying Beat vs Hearing PRO

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flying Beat at every 3 months against Hearing PRO's every 32 months. Hearing PRO's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (21 vs 4). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Flying Beat costs $2.99 and Hearing PRO $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hearing PRO holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hearing PRO has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Flying Beat's written reviews are positive against 21% of Hearing PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flying Beat ships an update every 3 months, Hearing PRO every 32 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
