# Palomar Ballroom vs ESC Access

The clearest difference is update cadence: ESC Access at every 4 weeks against Palomar Ballroom's every 50 months. Palomar Ballroom's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Palomar Ballroom ships an update every 50 months, ESC Access every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
