# Magic T vs Times Tables Learning

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Times Tables Learning at 70% against Magic T's 40%. Times Tables Learning also leads on ratings volume (800 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Magic T's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic T sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Times Tables Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magic T holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Times Tables Learning has 800 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Magic T's written reviews are positive against 70% of Times Tables Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Magic T ships an update every 4 months, Times Tables Learning monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
