# SMS Junk Filter vs AntiSpy Shield PRO

The clearest difference is update cadence: AntiSpy Shield PRO at every 3 days against SMS Junk Filter's every 9 days. SMS Junk Filter's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Junk Filter sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $7.99 per year and AntiSpy Shield PRO sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
