# Jelly Copter vs Helicopter Dispatch

The clearest difference is rating: Jelly Copter at 4.2 against Helicopter Dispatch's 1.0. Jelly Copter also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 48 months) and ratings volume (73 vs 1). Helicopter Dispatch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jelly Copter sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Helicopter Dispatch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Jelly Copter holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jelly Copter has 73 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Jelly Copter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Helicopter Dispatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jelly Copter ships an update monthly, Helicopter Dispatch every 48 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
