# TaskTowers vs Laps

The clearest difference is update cadence: TaskTowers at fortnightly against Laps's every 6 months. TaskTowers also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 26). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskTowers sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Laps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskTowers ships an update fortnightly, Laps every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
