# Sub vs EverPresent

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EverPresent at 62% against Sub's 15%. EverPresent also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Sub's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (778 vs 17). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sub holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sub has 778 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Sub's written reviews are positive against 62% of EverPresent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sub ships an update every 5 weeks, EverPresent every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
