# Tendercare vs Sauter SmartVision

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sauter SmartVision at every 2 months against Tendercare's every 10 months. Tendercare's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tendercare ships an update every 10 months, Sauter SmartVision every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
