# Charket vs Blook VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Charket at 5.0 against Blook VPN's 4.3. Charket also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.4). Blook VPN's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blook VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Charket asks for nothing beyond the download.

Charket holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blook VPN has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Charket ships an update every 2 months, Blook VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
