# Palm Reader vs ThirdEye

The clearest difference is monetization model: ThirdEye at free against Palm Reader's free with in-app purchases. ThirdEye also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Palm Reader's advantage is ratings volume (286 vs 39) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Palm Reader against 4.3 for ThirdEye. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palm Reader has 286 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Palm Reader's written reviews are positive against 78% of ThirdEye's.

Palm Reader ships an update every 2 months, ThirdEye every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
