# Palm Reader vs Double Crash

The clearest difference is rating: Palm Reader at 4.3 against Double Crash's 2.3. Palm Reader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (286 vs 22). Double Crash's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Double Crash sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Palm Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

Palm Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palm Reader has 286 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 82% and 82% positive.

Palm Reader ships an update every 2 months, Double Crash weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
