# ImgExif vs TextMaster

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TextMaster at 100% against ImgExif's 17%. TextMaster also leads on update cadence (every 11 months vs every 47 months). ImgExif's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ImgExif sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TextMaster sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ImgExif holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of ImgExif's written reviews are positive against 100% of TextMaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ImgExif ships an update every 47 months, TextMaster every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
